Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Jamaican Nationality
High school graduate or plans to graduate from a Jamaican high school in 2022.
Intending to enroll in an accredited college or university in Jamaica
Demonstrating unmet financial need.

Selection Criteria

The Scholar reviews each application individually with the assistance of a committee. The criteria used in the selection process are:
Academic ability and achievement: Maintains a strong academic record and receives outstanding recommendations from teachers, shows a desire to be challenged, and demonstrates enthusiasm for learning.
Leadership: Motivates others, takes initiative, and contributes positively to the community.
Persistence: Exhibits determination when faced with obstacles, goal-oriented, and confronts challenges with an ability to adapt to change.
Unmet financial need

Application Requirements Two (2) Letters of Reccommendation. At least one must be from an educator at your secondary institution.
Applicable Certificates such as but not limited to CSEC and Cape
School Transcript
Resume, highlighting any internships, jobs, leadership positions, awards, service clubs at school or other experiences and accomplishments that you want to draw attention to.

Video introducing yourself and your future plans explaining your academic dreams and goals and why you should be selected for this opportunity (maximum 2 mins long)
